A few procedurally generated 3D scenes. Each loads only on its own page — drag, spin and switch camera presets as soon as you arrive.
- 01Aether IsleA miniature island suspended in cloud — cherry tree, lantern-lit pavilion, stream and waterfall, every rock and ripple computed in the browser.
- 02OrreryA classical orrery that keeps running: brass rings, six planets, a shell of stars — elliptical orbits you can watch speed up and slow down.
- 03Deep-sea LighthouseA lighthouse on the sea floor: its beam turns slowly, kelp sways with the water, marine snow drifts through the light. Seabed, tower taper and sway are all computed.
- 04Volcano Lava LakeA volcano still burning: the lava lake simmers in the crater, cooled crust cracks open in patches to show the glow beneath, embers rise and ash drifts out. The crater profile and the swell of the lake are all computed.
- 05Polar StationA station through the polar night: ridged ice below, an aurora curtain drifting overhead, snow falling the whole time. Every point of the curtain is computed — it shifts and flickers rather than sitting there like a painted board.
- 06Misty Valley CablewayA cable strung across a misty valley: two towers, one sagging line, and a car that runs back and forth along it. The car rides the very catenary the cable draws, so it always hugs the line instead of floating above it. Bands of mist drift every frame, the higher ones swinging farther.
- 07Salt Lake MirrorA salt lake that mirrors the sky: a ring of far mountains and a few salt shards, each standing once above the water and once below. The water is semi-transparent, so the copy underneath shows through as its reflection — the horizon and its mirror always meet on the same line.
- 08Dry Garden at DuskA dry garden in the last of the light: raked sand rings each stone and settles into straight lines beyond; maple leaves drift down onto the sand, and the stone lantern and the shoji under the eaves glow warm.
- 09Firefly CreekA bamboo-lined creek on a summer night: a low moon upstream, and the water mirrors it along with the bamboo tops and the lantern on the bridge. Over two hundred fireflies blink along the banks, and every so often they drift into step and the whole valley lights at once.
